    For this CD, Herbert Schuch has not only selected two composers but also two different instruments. He plays the A-major Sonata on a Fazioli grand piano that provides him with a somewhat more slender sound. The Schubert programme is divided by the Sonata 1 October 1905 by Leoš Janácek; this is almost like an „Unfinished“, for the composer burned the third movement shortly prior to the premiere.
